Our Relationship with Mamata started in 2007 with installation of 1st Pouch Machine to do Hooded Slider Pouches. With this new Machine, we started making Hooded Slider Pouches at 25-30% higher speeds than our existing capacity than. Today, we have 3 Pouch Machines from Mamata and the latest one has capability to do conventional Pouches plus side gusseted Zipper Pouches, or side gusseted Pouches from Single web for heavy duty packaging needs. All 3 machines we have from Mamata has capability to handle Laminates as well as Un-supported Co-Ex films. An opportunity for us to acquire significant business if we could make Bags with water tight pouch seals created an opportunity for us to have our 1st Mamata Machine. We installed Mamata’s Vega 1200, fitted with multiple pouch sealers and other attachments in February 2011. Our maintenance and production personnel just love the simplicity of design and quick changeovers. We were so satisfied with the Vega 1200 that we purchased a Vega W 800 wicketer and put it into production in March 2012. We have been equally impressed with it’s capabilities and run speeds. It has become our “go to” wicketer when daily production output is critical.
